Marine Operations Manager - Cargo Crude Trading, Bunker Fuel, Fuel Oil, Int'l Fortune 500 Co.
Our client is an international Fortune 500 company with a leading position in petroleum trading, blending, and transportation. The company provides a wide array of commercial and operational services to the energy industry including cargo trading crude oil, refinery feedstocks, cutterstocks, bunker fuel, and fuel oils throughout the United States and major international energy markets.

We are currently recruiting for the position of: Marine Operations Manager. The Marine Operations Manager will have responsibility for:

Operations Management
(1) Managing terminal operations (blending, tank transfer, inspection arrangement)
(2)Managing vessel/barge operations (loading, discharging, ship-to-ship, time charter, chartering support)
(3) Managing land transportation (pipeline, rail cars, trucks)
(4) Documentation arrangement (shipping documents arrangements, custom arrangement)
(5) Logistics optimization
(6) Industrial information gathering

Business Development
*Business development information gathering
*Planning & assessment of potential medium to long term asset commitment/investment
Internal Control Enhancement
*Documentation confirmation (contract, invoice confirmation)
*Supporting internal business process set-up

Employee Training
*Train employee/trainee

To qualify for this outstanding position, you must possess the following:

*10+ years of shipping operations experience in the crude oil and/or fuel oil business (mandatory)
*Experience must include the majority of experience listed above under Responsibilities 1 - 6
*Ability to take ownership of this area
*Strong communication skills

B.S. or B.A. Degree from a 4 year fully accredited college or university
