Vice President, Gas Marketing and Origination - Need Northeast Region + Prefer Some GoM
This position is responsible for the gas marketing team management. Additionally, individual will also act as a playing manager for long-term deal negotiation and relatively significant short-term trading. The team consists of 4 traders, 1 originator, and 3 schedulers. The current core business of the team and main tasks of the position are as follows:

(a) Equity gas marketing in Marcellus: prepare marketing & hedging plan insuring that execution is done appropriately by team members. Provide appropriate guidance on transportation portfolio, new non-traditional business opportunities and assist in facilitation of divestitures and acquisitions.

(b) Feed gas supply to company’s gas value chain: The primary focus is Cameron LNG feed gas. Working together with company’s LNG team, this position is required to contribute in establishing procurement strategy and be responsible in its negotiation and execution.

(c) 3rd party trading in Northeast & Gulf of Mexico: set-up strategy and negotiate for the long-term business opportunities which contribute to company’s energy portfolio. Understand market trend and risk/return of each trade in a team. Give appropriate guidance to traders for achieving the annual trade/profit target.

All of these tasks require:

(1) Close communication and reporting with various external teams and entities - internal: LNG division, Middle/Back office; external includes potential long-term business counter parties and all of company’s affiliates.

(2) Deep understanding of market/credit risk and internal risk limit.

(3) Give opportunities to the team members for their further growth and motivation.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Over 15 years of experience including team management in gas marketing & origination both in Northeast and Gulf of Mexico region. Strong industrial network, trade risk/return evaluation skill, and a long-term contract (including AMA) negotiation experience are required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics or engineering) is required.
