Director of Business Development - Crude, Condensate, NGL's, Petroleum Products
This is an outstanding career opportunity for the talented individual to assume newly created role for, Director of Business Development of this energy marketing group folded within an asset based energy company. To qualify, you must possess 5 to 10 years experience in oil and gas marketing and business development experience with a solid knowledge of the major and minor companies in the market. It is also considered a major plus if you possess some experience in terminal operations (blending, tank transfer, inspection arrangement and marine/land transportation of products). Position Summary

This position is responsible for new business identification and development of the investment and trading opportunities in energy business industries for commodities including, but not limited to, crude oil, condensate, petroleum products and natural gas liquid (NGLs). Will also be responsible for maintaining existing business.

The primary coverage area is the U.S. oil & gas producing region such as Permian, Eagle Ford, Bakken or Gulf of Mexico, but it also includes Canada and other Americas countries depending on opportunities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development (80%)

Establishes, incubates and maintains the domestic and export trading scheme.
Plans and assesses the potential investment projects.
Gathers industrial information and intelligence and builds network in the industry.
Builds strategies and leads internal discussions.

Additional Duties (20%)
Manages and optimizes terminal operations (e.g. blending, tank transfer, inspection arrangement), marine and land transportation operations (e.g. loading, discharging, ship-to-ship, time charter, chartering support, pipe line, rail cars, trucks).
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:

Provides senior managers with extensive and detailed reports with recommendations for projects and external partners.
Conducts market surveys to study the business potential for the projects and business models.
Consults and participates with senior managers to develop and implement strategies
