Deep Water GoM Production Manager

Overview

Strong and proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment and professional skills that strive for continuous improvements.

Ø Exceptional knowledge of deep water Gulf of Mexico production, facility and completion engineering and a complete understanding of all phases of an oil & gas assets from subsurface to pipelines to processing including a detailed understanding of deep water oil and gas field practices and procedures.

Ø Problem solving skills and an above average command on computer operations.

Ø 15 years of deep water experience and a degree in Petroleum Engineering or 25 years of experience in deep water production management and supervisory positions.

Ø Possess a general understanding of Reservoirs, Operations and Geology that effectively support current operations.

Ø Experience dealing with domestic supply contracts.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at interaction with variety of contacts, including peers, management, vendors and industry partners

The Key Duties are:

Ø Increasing the production capacity by improving performance and overseeing production controls, operate oil and gas fields in a profitable and optimal manner.

Ø Supervise production operations and insure production targets are achieved.

Ø Lead the production teams forecasting, planning and delivering of produced volumes.

Ø Develop new strategies to increase production with safe and cost-efficient methods.

Ø Ensure the company’s site personnel follow the HSE policy and that corrective measures are taken in a timely manner.

Ø Develop and manage budget and operational expenses, oversee bid proposal packages and subcontractor agreements. Provide cost and risk management.

Ø Build ongoing relationships with key members and functional managers within the organization.

Ø Take corrective actions to rectify variances.

Ø Manage the commissioning and startup of new projects and plant modifications to ensure compliance with standards, specs and contract terms and conditions.

Ø Manage field production assets to ensure optimum exploitation and administrating the resources to operate and maintain all surface facilities to ensure optimum availability of oil production around the clock in a safe and environmental friendly manner.

Ø Ensuring proper implementation of approved reservoir management and monitoring programs.

Ø Direct the planning and execution of maintenance & major shutdowns and approving plans, tender packages, bid evaluation, and recommending contract awards as appropriate.

Ø Effectively maintaining internal and external communications with a broad variety of engineering disciplines and management

Ø Supervise contract operators and facility and production engineers.
