Outstanding career opportunity with this solid oil ad gas Producer for the 5 - 10 year Reservoir Engineer with solid Deep Water Gulf of Mexico experience. Newly created role, open due to growth. Primary duties will consist of the following:

Provide reservoir engineering support for operational review

Use PHDWin to calculate economics, Forecast Production, Estimate Reserves, create future projects, and generate reports needed for management.

Calculate Volumetrics to determine OOIP and Remaining Oil in Place

Analyze Oil and Gas fields to optimize production

Work with geologist and geophysics to determine reservoir rock properties to optimize production.

Review PDPs to maximize production and verify forecast are accurate and up to date.

Interpret well logs to ensure maximum current and future well potential has been achieved.

Review remaining Oil in place to optimize field development planning.

Perform basic statistics on datasets to explore trends, patterns, outliers and clusters

Able to identify and quantifies oil and gas targets of reserves. As well as prioritize, present, and monitor oil and gas development and exploitation projects

Evaluate economics and profitability of potential projects for the company.

Knowledgeable in conducting reservoir evaluations using pressure and rate transient analysis, completion optimization, decline curve analysis, nodal analysis, material balance calculations, etc.
