Lead Risk Analyst - Middle Ofice Support, Large Producer's Trading Group
Exceptional career opportunity for the talented Senior Risk Analyst to assume Lead Role in the middle office within the trading group of this large oil and gas producer. Need individual who is ready to assume first senior supervision role of team and who has a passion for teaching and coaching others. You will enjoy the opportunity of working with a dynamic group and handling the process from cradle-to-grave (monthly close, P & L, assessing risk, etc.) This is a spirited, progressive team where individual effort and initiative is recognized and rewarded.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

*Significant experience in Physical Oil, Products and Nat Gas in an Advisory Role in either trading, risk, or risk and trading.
*Demonstrated ability to develop trade/investment economic and risk assessment models using both discrete and statistical modelling techniques
*Experience with ETRM is desirable, Endur specifically
*Fluency in MS Office tools and VBA is required and desirable if possess experience in MATLAB, @risk or Crustal Ball
*Excellent communication skills

Detailed Responsibilities:

Produce and deliver timely daily PnL report for management review. Weekly and monthly PnL reports are also required for Group roll-up.
Validate all transactions input into ETRM system and resolve any discrepancies with Traders. Produce daily report showing input errors.
Participate in key risk driver analysis, risk profiling and aggregation, and risk model development.
Daily analysis of movement of PnL and MTM and understanding of Trader’s strategies while working closely with them to resolve any issues.

Develop trend analysis and other scenario testing to understand market movements.

Analyze risk parameters to verify they are within the approved tolerances and limits.
Participate in risk technology/systems design and implementation.
Provide back-up as required to the various other activities within the risk team
Support regional and global process & procedure standardization initiatives

Education Requirement:

Degree from an accredited university is required


Salary - $120,000.00 - $130,000.00/year plus generous annual bonus, superior benefits and 401K, exceptional comprehensive benefits, 4-1/2 day work week, paid parking, strong company stability
