Training & Development Specialist (HR Group) - Organizational Development Exp. Preferred

PURPOSE

The Training & Development Specialist will develop and implement training and staff development programs and policies, ensuring that all tools, systems and processes are aligned with company objectives, strategy and best business practice.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITY

*Provide advice on various methodologies for employee development and performance management, recommending the most efficient and effective methods and procedures.

*Manage the performance appraisal and assessment center processes, assisting line managers to ensure effective feedback to the appraised / assessed staff;

*Support to the definition and implementation of the competency assessment system

*Conduct needs analysis to develop a learning and development strategy that supports business priorities and operational goals;

*Ensure that the training-and development activities are executed in compliance with best business practice, statutory requirements, company strategy, business objectives and budgets.

*Advise and assists in the development of solutions to address gaps identified through talent management processes.

*Develop and utilize dashboard metrics to evaluate effectiveness of leadership programs and development opportunities.

*Act as focal point for the preparation of the staff replacement plan, monitoring the same and reporting thereon.

*Design, implement and update Personal Development Plans for employees, in close cooperation with line managers and HR.

*Maintain and update records of PDPs, making presentations and preparing reports on the company’s staff development plans and programs.

*Analyze the key performance indicators related to the Development and Training section

*Submit to the management and Head office forecasts and analysis of past and current training and development reports.

*Monitor annual budgets and guarantee the correct deployment/accounting of budget expenditure/cost control.

*Ensure that new employees are provided with sufficient information and knowledge to familiarize them with the organization and department, projects, work and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.

MAIN INTERFACES

INTERNAL: All employees within the company

EXTERNAL: Liaison with other companies, contractors, training and development consultants, professional association, and peer groups.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Organizational development/behavior or equivalent years of experience, master’s degree preferred.

*3+ years of Human Resource generalist, organizational development, and analytical project experience

*Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)

*Knowledge and experience in using organizational development tools, both automated and manual.

*Quick learner, ability to multi task.

*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

*Excellent skills in Microsoft Windows, Office applications; including PowerPoint and Excel

*Requires strong Excel ability for report generation (very important)


Salary - $75,000.00 - $80,000.00/year plus generous annual bonus, superior benefits fully paid, outstanding 401K, paid parking, flex hours, strong, stable company
