Director of Compensation - Will Work With Executive Leadership Team

Job Summary:

The Director of Compensation is accountable for the strategic direction, leadership, and management of the compensation program of this Fortune 500 oil and gas company. The primary mission is to ensure compensation initiatives are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and have a positive impact on the overall performance of the organization. The Director will provide leadership to staff of 4 who are accountable for continuous development, design, implementation, communication, and maintenance of compensation and recognition programs. Importantly, the Director will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on prevailing total rewards practices and as such oversee executive compensation, and prepare materials for the Compensation committee, public disclosure and compliance.

Specific Duties:

*Work in partnership with Key Stakeholders and the Leadership Team to establish vision and philosophy of corporate compensation in order to attract and retain top talent
*Responsible for overall accountability for the planning, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of compensation to align the organization's people and business strategies, objectives, and competitive marketplace position
*Collaborate with and serve as an advisor to Executive Leadership on matters pertaining to management incentive plans and executive compensation
*Develop effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction and monitor impact and effectiveness
*Lead, inspire, and develop a high-quality team
*Establish, revise, administer, and communicate policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines

Qualifications and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required / Master’s or MBA preferred

10+ years of Compensation experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Strong experience developing and/or managing executive compensation required
Solid, proven experience designing and implementing Compensation Programs in a publicly held company
The ability to influence and present to Leadership Team and Board of Directors required
Strong people management experience in a progressive compensation department
Experience with Workday a plus.
Helpful if possess additional knowledge of benefits programs (Health, 401K, etc.)
Experience with an oil and gas company strongly preferred

Salary - $200,000.00 - $225,000.00/year plus generous annual bonus, generous long term incentive bonus, superior benefits and 401K, complete relocation offered, much more
