Compensation Analyst (3 Yrs Exp) - Exceptional Career Opportunity
Truly an outstanding career opportunity for the talented individual who possesses a four year college degree, 3 years experience in compensation, and exceptional Excel skills. This publicly held, Houston-based energy company has a newly created role in its progressive HR group for the person who truly wants to grow their career in compensation (primary) with additional learning opportunities in benefits (secondary). This group appreciates and rewards individual creativity and contribution in a positive environment that values a good work/life balance. Please read carefully the following job responsibilities:

*monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation polices and recommend revisions where necessary
*utilize salary surveys to assist in determining competitiveness of existing company compensation levels
*handle the administration of direct compensation for exempt and non-exempt cash compensation programs
*keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws & regulations to insure compliance
*assist with evaluating and comparing existing company benefits with those of other employers
*many special learning projects associated with compensation and benefits programs

To qualify for this exciting position, you must posses:
*college degree from an accredited university
*3 years experience in compensation (prefer energy company experience, but not required for right person)
*strong Excel skills - very much required to produce reports
*excellent communication skills
*willingness to learn and be mentored
*can-do attitude

Salary - $75,000.00 - $80,000.00/year plus strong benefits and 401K, paid parking, flex hours, excellent career mentoring, job stability and career advancement with NY Stock Exchange listed company
