Pipeline Safety Coordinator
Our client is a well-established, growing and profitable energy services company based in west Houston. This newly created position reports to the SVP of Safety. Together, they will enhance the company’s Safety program with policies, training, employee awareness, and compliance. This is a generalist position with lead responsibilities, but no direct reports at this time. It’s an opportunity for a Safety professional that is motivated to build an excellent Safety program and put his or her stamp on it.

Candidate profile
• General Safety background
• 4+ year’s experience in pipeline, energy, right-of-way construction, surveying or related fields
• Technical writing skills a plus
• Contractor safety challenges and compliance experience
• Strong interpersonal and business skills to effectively engage a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive to identify risks and implement steps to mitigate them
• Comfortable in a hands-on, take-ownership, work with little or no supervision environment
• Well-organized to manage workload, priorities and deliverables
• Willing to travel up to 20%
• College degree in Safety preferred but not required.
• CSP preferred but not required. (Client will assist selected candidate to pursue CSP credential.)
