Chemical Process Engineer – Mineral Ore Processing – Southwest USA location
This is an exciting opportunity for the Chemical Process Engineer motivated to pursue responsibilities in the Mineral Ore Processing industry. Previous experience in this industry, NOT required. We’re seeking an Engineer driven to optimize continuous, efficient and quality production. Our client is a well-established mining company with state of the art equipment and processing facilities to deliver high-quality materials for a wide variety industrial and technology applications.

Scope emphasizes…
• Assembling and reporting process and performance data
• Develop, track, report, and improve KPIs
• Prepare, review and enhance SOPs
• Originate and report cost/benefit/risk data
• Deep involvement in operational MOC processes
• Monitor processes with SPC
• Careful attention to working closely with other stakeholders in operations, production, process safety, process control, HSE and training
• Some capital project work
• Some start-up and commissioning

Qualifications include…
• BS Chemical Engineering
• 3 year’s experience in the chemical industry
• Knowledge of DCS and PLC systems performance expectations
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
• Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship
