Sr. Data Analytics Oil & Gas Engineer

A newly created position due to ongoing growth, this exceptional oil & gas company has an immediate need for the Sr. Data Analytics Engineer. This is a high visibility/high impact role with daily interaction with executive staff. This group has not experienced a layoff in 10 years!

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
*Assemble large, complex data sets around reservoir engineering and geoscience data that meet functional requirements of the business
*develop and implement data auditing strategies and processes to ensure engineering and geoscience data quality, accuracy & integrity
*develop, deploy and support real-time automated data streams from numerous sources into the data platform
*Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical searches and support their needs

To Qualify for This Position a Candidate Must Possess:
*Bachelors degree
*Minimum 2-3 years experience building and optimizing big data platforms with an oil and gas company
*Experience must include data analytics surrounding reservoir engineering and geoscience
*Strong written and oral communications
*Passionate about big data potential and uses
*Willingness to help others

$140,000.00 - $155,000.00/year
